HOWE CAVERNS HOSTS JOB FAIR APRIL 4
HOWES CAVE, N.Y. – For those looking for a summer job, Howe Caverns hosts its annual Job Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, in the Café dining room at 255 Discovery Drive.
Schoharie County’s landmark attraction has full- and part-time positions available for the 2009 summer season. The Job Fair is open to everyone ages 16 and older.
“A full list of job descriptions is available at our website, www.howecaverns.com, An online application is posted there also for those who might not be able to attend the Job Fair,” said General Manager Robert Holt.
People ages 16 and older may apply for a variety of jobs including tour guide; gift shop or candy shop clerk, parking lot/greeter and motel housekeeper.
Those ages 18 and older are eligible to work in the Café or as a gemstone/geode attendant, custodian, gardener, motel front desk clerk or ticket office clerk.
Howe Caverns is located between Albany and Cooperstown, off I-88 at Exit 22. Howe Caverns is open daily (except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
