The Pipe Organ is a combination of
all three of the calcite formations, stalactites,
stalagmites and flowstone. The Keyboard area
was made when the early explorers broke off the stalactites to take as
souvenirs. This exposed the natural holes going up through the formation
which cause the resonating sound when you hum beneath its canopy.
