For your below ground adventure, you will enjoy a traditional guided tour of Howe Caverns, which will take you through a living, limestone cave, carved by an underground river over the course of millions of years.

And then for a change in scenery, take your hiking sticks and climb a local landmark - Vroman's Nose Mountain! Just a short drive from Howe Caverns, this unique geological formation dominates the skyline from all directions. Approximately a 2 mile round trip hike, Vroman's Nose is perched 600 feet above the farmlands of the beautiful Schoharie Valley, and offers magnificent, unobstructed views of mother nature at her best.
