Welcome to Howe Caverns... We are open every day 9AM to 5PM. GO UNDERGROUND... the temperature is always 52 degrees, the warmest place to be in New York this time of the year! Our guided tours take one hour and twenty minutes. After your tour try out our gemstone mining and geode cutting. Stop in our Sweet Shop for our homemade fudge, truffles and a cup of Starbucks coffee. Our Cafe is closed this time of year, however, we have snacks, hot dogs and nachos. We have quite a collection of souvenirs and gifts in our Gift Shop. Stay overnight at our motel.

And while visiting Howe Caverns’ Tudor style lodge, built in 1927, stop at the Sweet Shop for some of our delicious homemade fudge. In the evening you will enjoy a unique dining experience at the George Mann Tory Tavern. Dating from 1770 and restored to its original elegance, guests enjoy their step back in history through leisurely-paced, elegant dining in a colonial setting.
