Our guided tours take one hour and twenty minutes. After your tour try out our gemstone mining and geode cutting. Stop in our Sweet Shop for our homemade fudge, truffles and a cup of Starbucks coffee. Our Cafe is closed this time of year, however, we have snacks, hot dogs and nachos. We have quite a collection of souvenirs and gifts in our Gift Shop. Stay overnight at our motel.

Howe Caverns Café Welcome to the all-new Howe Caverns Café. Overlooking the picturesque Schoharie Valley, the beautifully renovated café is open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. From breakfast through dinner, enjoy a wide selection of items – from French toast to Panini, homemade soups and desserts, and much more. After Labor Day through early May, the Café will be open on a limited basis and also available for student groups, tour groups, banquets, reunions, wedding receptions and holiday parties. For special arrangements please call us at 518-296-8900. Watch for a special episode of Rachael Ray's Summer Vacation in New York airing in 2010 where Rachael visits Howe Caverns, samples breakfast and lunch in our Cafe and makes fudge in our Sweet Shop.
