Our guided tours take one hour and twenty minutes. After your tour try out our gemstone mining and geode cutting. Stop in our Sweet Shop for our homemade fudge, truffles and a cup of Starbucks coffee. Our Cafe is closed this time of year, however, we have snacks, hot dogs and nachos. We have quite a collection of souvenirs and gifts in our Gift Shop. Stay overnight at our motel.

We offer a wide selection of souvenirs and gifts for all ages. We have locally made jewelry and many types of rocks and minerals such as amethyist cathedrals that are available for purchase, as well as t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and even miner's helmets! New in 2009 Also available in the Gift Shop is a newly published book entitled Lester Howe and Howe Caverns "The Hole Story" written by Howe Caverns' General Manager Robert A. Holt. The book depicts many historical stories and numerous photographs about the early tours through the caverns during Lester Howe's ownership in the 1800's; the commercialization of Howe Caverns in the 1920's and its re-opening to the public in 1928 as a premier attraction in the northeast. Get your copy of the new Howe Caverns Video Tour DVD filmed in the cave in High Definition. Also on the DVD are several former employees who share stories of the past. The video of Howe Caverns has captured an Award of Excellence for its use in cinema advertising and in an online video campaign in the Commercials/Amusements/Entertainment category of the 2009 Videographer Awards.
