Abby, Chantal, and Eylse!
Winter 2024-25

Meet Abby, Chantal, and Eylse!

This gal-gang met in 2007 while attending college at Rochester Institute of Technology. These ladies are on a girls weekend getaway at a friend’s cabin here in upstate. There’s a fourth friend to this gang but she stayed behind at the cabin. She’s the first of their group to have a child and nap time fell at tour time. Abby says she is from the “general New England area.” She’s lived in Maine, Rhode Island, Maryland, Virginia, Connecticut and has also lived in Alaska. Chantal, was born and raised in Buffalo. Eylse was born and raised in Cincinnati. During college they all lived in the same dorm and even attended a few classes together. They would see each other in passing but never really never hung out together. The second year of college is when their lifetime bonds began to form. They saw each other through heartbreaks, holidays, classes, dance parties, and frozen margaritas at the local pub. In 2011, they graduated and went their separate ways. They consider each other chosen family and treat each other like sisters. The best part of their friendship is that they love each other unconditionally. They also said what makes that unconditional love so special is that it’s an intentional love from people who are choosing to love you. They’re not required to love you. They are very adamant about keeping their friendship alive and a few times a year, they all get together. Often, if they all can’t get together due to scheduling conflicts, each of them will travel to visit individually. The one thing they want to tell the world is, “We’re not here for a long time. We’re here for a good time! Make sure that you are leaning in to the light, love and happiness that life has to offer. Make sure you are nurturing the relationships that will help you bloom.” Wonderful words of wisdom! Thank you so much for visiting!
