Meet Brian, Melissa, Emma, and Josephine from Long Island

Brian, Melissa, Emma, and Josephine from Long Island, New York made this spring break one to remember with a trip full of meaning and adventure. For Brian, today marked the fulfillment of a dream that began years ago. During his time in Boy Scouts, he once had the chance to visit but couldn’t make it. It was a missed opportunity that stayed with him. This time, with his family by his side, he finally made it to Howe.

They began their day at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, a perfect destination for these devoted Yankees fans, before continuing on to explore our breathtaking underground wonders. Travel is something the whole family enjoys. Emma recently discovered a passion for geology. In fact, she was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable that she was sharing fascinating facts right alongside her tour guide.

For this family, there was no shortage of favorites from their tour. They loved the Chinese Pagoda, the scenic boat ride, the winding passages of Winding Way, and the ever-popular “bacon strip.” And of course, no visit would be complete without a little fun! Melissa couldn’t resist picking up a pair of panties from the brand new “blown off” collection. Brian, Melissa, Emma, and Josephine ended their day sluicing for gemstones and enjoying some of our delicious new homemade fudge flavors.

It was a day full of discovery, laughter, and finally checking off a long-awaited dream. We’re so glad to have been part of your adventure! Thank you so much for visiting!
