Meet Eric & Zach from Ontario, Canada
They met while in college through a mutual friend from grade school and have been together for 10 years. One of their firsts dates was a 33,000 mile road trip together! They started in Toronto in James Bay then made their way to the east cost of the United States, down to the Florida keys, headed west to the Gulf Coast, on to Mexico’s southern boarder, and Belize, then made their way up to Vancouver and Alaska, to end back in Toronto!! It took Eric six months to complete the road trip. Zach traded places with a friend half way through the trip, but only for a little while, and then came back to finish the trip out with Eric. The same car that they came to Howe Caverns in, is the same car that they took on that road trip. It’s a 2005 Subaru Forrester XT5 speed. While, Eric has a degree in business. He loves cars. He has another Subaru which he rally races. Zach went to school for photography and photographing Eric at the races is something he very much enjoys. The two joked that this is Zach’s “Jesus year”. Zach works in real estate. Two weeks after he turned 33 he realized that he had forgotten to renew his license. While at work, he and his boss realized this last minute while being required to have the license for something specific that day. Zach’s boss told him that he needed him to preform a miracle and get the license reinstated that day. Miraculously, he did! So, Zach decided that this was the year he is going to try all the things that he has always wanted to, but thought that he never could. He recently took up sewing and has created some beautiful works of art; making suit jackets. The couple says while they are very different and often find the solutions to problems in different ways, they both love to support each other. The one thing they want to tell the world is, “Be kind. Be patient. Life is too short. Be who you are. Make a suit, race cars, and take that road trip!” Eric & Zach, thank you so very much for taking the time to share your story and visiting.
Safe travels and wishing you many more amazing adventures.
