Meet Frank, Barbara, and Tibor from Budapest

This trio of friends have a really interesting story! Tibor and Barbara met over 7 years ago through salsa classes and decided to start traveling the world together. Last year, Frank joined in on their adventures! Sometimes they travel to meet up with friends and sometimes they travel and meet up with people they don’t even know! On a week-long trip in Maui, they never had to pay for lodging! They used an app called “Couchsurfing.” The app connects you with hosts that allow you to stay with them free of charge. It is a wonderful way to make friends. They have traveled through, Switzerland, Spain, and many other countries. Every year, they change their destination. Last year they traveled through the western parts of the US. This year’s trip will take them from New York to Chicago. They found the largest community of Hungarians in the United States in Cleveland and they are on their way to visit them! When we asked them if they had one thing to tell the world they said, “Stay positive and be open to others. When you approach strangers with love, usually love is what you will receive in return.” We sent them on their way with some homemade fudge- which they loved!
