Meet Kelly, Aldaiane, and Duncan from Brazil

From the vast cattle lands of Mato Grosso, Brazil, to the snowy hills of Maine, Aldaiane’s journey is one of strength, sacrifice, and unwavering faith. She was raised by her grandparents whom she lovingly calls her true mother and father. She grew up watching resilience in action. Her grandmother’s selfless love and her grandfather’s tireless work shaped the foundation of her strength. Now a mother herself, Aldaiane is building a life in the U.S., running her own cleaning business. It was an idea she envisioned and brought to life with bold determination. “I don’t need anyone to take care of me,” she says, “but I’m grateful to share my life with Duncan.” Duncan, a former cage fighter turned realtor, grew up in Maine with a deep respect for strong women—especially his mother. His mother once had a dream of him marrying a Brazilian woman. Her voice and that dream guided him years later to a dating app where he met Aldaiane. Despite a blizzard, he drove 115 miles to see her on their first date. Now, three years into marriage, he says, “She’s the calm in my storm. The rock.” Together, they raise their children across borders, share laughter, and nurture dreams. Aldaiane loves Duncan’s humor and warmth; he admires her deep passion for life and her fearless authenticity. “She makes everyone around her want to be better,” he says. With Aldaiane’s cousin Kelly visiting from Brazil, learning English and seeing New York City for the first time, their life is a mosaic of cultures, courage, and connection. Their message is simple but powerful. “Push yourself, no matter how hard things get. Pressure makes diamonds. Character is built in the struggle. Trust that God has a plan—and never lose faith in it.” Thank you so much for visiting
