Meet Ron & Luis

Ron is originally from this area and Luis is from California. Currently, they are in the process of moving to New York. Luis, so far, likes New York more than L.A. because there is less traffic but still finds New York to be just as expensive as California. Ron last visited the cave on a school trip over 35 years ago. “The boat ride is exactly how I remembered it”, Ron said. They both really loved Winding Way, its impressiveness, and the overall beauty of the passage. Ron said that “visiting as a kid was a great experience but coming back as an adult was an even greater experience.” Learning about the history, geology, and science is much more interesting as an adult than it is as a kid. Eric asked how they would describe Howe Caverns to someone that has never visited, they said, “It’s an experience that you won’t find anywhere else” AND they added that they had heard about our annual Naked in a Cave event! You will definitely not find that experience anywhere else either!
