Meet Sarah and Morgan from Chicago, Illinois
Meet Sarah and Morgan—two bright young women from the heart of the Midwest, Chicago, Illinois. Raised on the rhythm of city life, with Lake Michigan as their backdrop and the pulse of the Windy City in their stride, these two have learned that growing up in Chicago means growing up with grit, resilience, and heart. Sarah, 22, the youngest of three siblings, just graduated with a bachelor’s in kinesiology from the University of Milwaukee. Driven by a deep desire to help others heal and thrive, she’s now pursuing her doctorate to become a physical therapist, with hopes of specializing in sports orthopedics. Morgan, 21, is blazing her own trail at Illinois State University, working toward a degree in human resource management. She’s full of ambition, ready to graduate next year, and eager to travel wherever her career takes her. Though Sarah and Morgan have known of each other since elementary school, their paths rarely crossed in the same circles. It wasn’t until college, through a mutual friend named Ann, that their connection truly took root. (By the way Ann is just a little shy and opted out of the interview but is on the trip with them.) What began as casual hangouts soon blossomed into a deep and lasting friendship. For the past two years, the trio has kept a cherished ritual. Every Friday night, they gather for sushi, movies, and sleepovers. It’s become a tradition filled with laughter, support, and the comfort of chosen family. Now, visiting upstate New York together, Sarah and Morgan and Ann are soaking in the beauty of the mountains, a striking contrast to Illinois’ flat landscapes. For Morgan, it’s her first visit to the region; for Sarah, her third. They agree—there’s something refreshing about the scenery, something that mirrors the growth and change happening within them. Through all the chapters of growing up, from crowded hallways and quiet Midwest evenings to college campuses and weekend traditions, their bond has become a testament to the power of friendship. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the most meaningful relationships take time to bloom.
The message that Sarah and Morgan want to share with the world is, “Be bold! Embrace your true self with fearless courage. The world isn’t watching as closely as you think. Your authenticity could spark a ripple of bravery in others. Shine unapologetically and let your light inspire those who need it most.” In a world that often demands perfection, these two Chicago-grown dreamers prove that being yourself is the bravest, and most beautiful, thing you can be. Thank you so much for visiting!
