Meet Bob and Gina from Keene
Meet Bob and Gina from Keene, New York, where their story began. Growing up together, they developed a lifelong love for the outdoors, a passion that has stayed with them for more than fifty years. That love has carried them across the United States, through Canada, and all the way to Alaska, where they spent three incredible months exploring a place they already knew they would return to before they even left. Their adventures haven’t always gone exactly as planned. During a camping trip near Yellowstone, Bob suffered a serious fall, but even that experience only reinforced the way they choose to live. After doctors told him his fractures would heal on their own, Bob and Gina did what they do best, they planned their next adventure. In their words, “Go while you can, because you don’t know, it can all end tomorrow.”
After more than five decades together, Bob and Gina are still drawn to the same places that shaped who they are. The roads have taken them from the Adirondacks to Alaska and countless places in between, but they’ve never lost their connection to the woods. If there’s one thing they hope others find, it’s the same peace, joy, and sense of belonging they’ve discovered outdoors throughout their lives. As Bob simply says, “Get into the woods.” Those few words carry a lifetime of meaning. From the forests they grew up exploring to the faraway places they’ve traveled side by side, the outdoors have always been their home away from home.
Thank you so much for visiting, Bob and Gina.
