Meet Carmen and Lupe

Meet Carmen and Lupe. These two conjoined twins were born in Mexico and raised in Connecticut. Carmen and Lupe have always loved exploring the outdoors. From hiking and fishing to visiting zoos and discovering new caves, they’re always looking for their next adventure. After seeing us on our Facebook page they added a visit to our cave to their bucket list. As self-proclaimed rock and mineral enthusiasts, the chance to go underground was something they couldn’t pass up.

This wasn’t their first cave experience they’ve explored several caves over the years but that didn’t make this trip any less exciting. When asked about their favorite part of the tour, they both agreed that the boat ride was the highlight of the day. They also loved our beautiful view and enjoyed spending time surrounded by nature.

For the past two years, Carmen and Lupe have worked as tour guides at Lilymoore Farm, where they introduce visitors to the farm’s animals and help create memorable experiences for guests. They especially enjoy meeting people from the city and giving them a chance to connect with animals in a way they may never have before. Before working at the farm, both spent time in veterinary medicine, something many people might be surprised to learn.

Their love of animals extends beyond work. At home, Carmen and Lupe, live their lives with a three-legged cat named Twiggy. Carmen has been married to her husband, Daniel for over 2 years. The couple met on Hinge, proving that sometimes great adventures begin with a simple swipe.

Before heading home, we asked if they had any words they’d like to share with the world. This is what they said: “Stay creative, and Please stop using AI.”

Thank you, Carmen and Lupe, for visiting and sharing a little of your story with us. We loved having you underground and are honored to have been part of another stop on your adventure. Hope to see you again someday!
