Meet Cayla & Michael from Hudson Valley, NY

Cayla is from the Hudson Valley, New York and Michael is from Norfolk, Virginia. Cayla proudly works with the Dove Creek Animal hospital, generously donates her time volunteering for the Fulton County SPCA, as well as fostering animals, that are need support, until they find their forever home. Cayla was raised by a single mother. She said her mom never made her or her brother feel like they were any different than any other family. Her mother took them on amazing, beautiful adventures, and was always there to support her and her brother. She feels very blessed to have such an amazing mom! Michael comes from a multi-generational military family. He is of Philippine and Italian heritage. He is the first generation, of his family, to be born and raised here in the United States. He originally went to school to be a priest. He ended up having a philosophical disagreement with the monks that were teaching and he decided that being a priest was not the life path that he wanted to take. He went on to study psychology and then discovered that criminal justice was where his passion lies. He ultimately graduated with a degree in criminal justice. This is Cayla & Michael’s third date! They said that every date that they’ve been on so far has been absolutely magical! Their first date had unexpected fireworks and it just keeps getting better and better as the time goes on! While they understand that no relationship is perfect, they are riding this wave for all it’s worth. They said, “Life is a gift of peaks and valleys. It’s not at the summit where your character is built. It’s in the climb. You’ll know you’re on the right path when God or the universe sends you a little wink.
