Meet Corin, Guillermo & Hakari

They came all the way from Texas. Unfortunately, their other daughter, Wren, was under the weather and stayed behind with Grandma Carol. (but don’t worry, Grandma Carol is spoiling her with their own little adventures back home in Texas) Corin, Guillermo & Hakari drove five hours from the border of Mexico and Texas to Austin to take a flight to Washington, D.C. After landing in D.C, they started driving north. It’s Corin & Guillermo’s life goal, as a couple, to make it to all 50 states in their lifetime. They are currently making their way across the northeastern states. They are particularly interested in the less populated places of the country. When Betsy asked them why, they said, “You really get to meet the salt of the earth in small towns.” They also love the fact that you can find more small local businesses and eat more locally grown and harvested food. Corin is, primarily, a biology teacher but has her degree to teach all sciences. She’s fascinated with the environment and conservation- which motivates her to travel. She considers the world to be a classroom. This is Hakari’s first time on the east coast. She has never traveled with her parents this far before. She will be 13 this year and is looking forward to every bit of this adventure. Guillermo is outnumbered but keeps these ladies laughing. After today, they are on their way to Concord, New Hampshire. Betsy is from that area so she recommended an awesome breakfast place called Tucker’s (Betsy says it’s some of the BEST breakfast skillets in the Northeast!) Then, they are going to Salem Massachusetts, then on to an Anime Convention! HOWE fun! Hakiari said if she had one thing to tell the world it would be, “pursue your passion and enjoy your time while doing it!” What a beautiful family! Safe travels! Thank you for visiting!
