Meet Eli from Florida
Eli is six years old and this is the first time that he has ever seen snow! His mom said that when they arrived for their cave tour, he literally ran out of the car, laid down in the snow, and made his first snow angel! Tomorrow is his uncle‘s 50th birthday so he, his older brother, and parents flew from Florida to celebrate. Eli said that Florida weather is generally warm, so he really likes to play outside. Like most young boys, he is a very active prefers to be on the move. He loves to ride his bike and he just got good enough to take his training wheels off! He told Betsy that his favorite food is corn on the cob! Eli says the most awesome thing he’s ever done in his life is play in the snow! He says, “The sun makes you feel warm and calm, the rain can make you feel sad, but the snow makes you feel super happy!” When Betsy asked Eli what he wanted to tell the world, he said “I don’t know too much about the world just yet.” The pure innocence of children can be felt by most on the first snowfall of the year. Children often do not think in the past nor the future; they enjoy the present, which very few of us allow ourselves the opportunity to do. Thank you Eli for stopping in and reminding us to savor the magic little moments this world has to offer!
Thank you for visiting!
