Meet Jessica from the Philippines
In the Philippines, she was a high school biology teacher but relocated to the U.S approximately eight years ago. She currently enjoys working for a technology manufacturing company that fabricates x-ray analyzers. In 2018, Jessica she was diagnosed with cancer and thankfully, after treatment, in 2019, she was fortunate enough to be cancer-free. She said that she believes that if she had been was diagnosed while living in the Philippines, she most likely would not had the resources needed to save her life. Three years ago, her husband, a United States veteran, had a stroke which paralyzed him. She’s so grateful that they live in here, in the United States, a country where he can be taken care of, where we have life-saving medical technology, and that they can receive the support that they need. When Betsy asked her if she had one thing to tell the world, she said, “Stop judging people and just love each other.” HOWE wonderful. Jessica is a pure ray of sunshine and we are so incredibly happy that she visited today.
Earlier today, visited Slate Hill Lavender Farm to celebrate life with a group of her closest friends. Betsy could not resist photographing her with her beautiful lavender You can check out more about Slate Hill Flower Farm here:
