Meet Josh (front left, squatting) from Rochester, New York

Meet Josh (front left, squatting) from Rochester, New York. President of his chapters Latin American motorcycle Association. For Josh and the rest of the L.A.M.A, community isn’t defined by where you’re from but by a shared passion that brings people together. Josh has spent the last 10 years, proving not only to his peers, but the rest of the world that he can create a place where people of different backgrounds, cultures, and generations can come together through a shared love of the open road.

To Josh, motorcycles have always been about the ride itself and not the journey. He cares about the scenery and the things around him. He doesn’t wanna drive fast because he doesn’t wanna miss a single moment of the world passing by. This motorcycle association was founded nearly 20 years ago and now has 89 chapters across the United States and the rest of the world including South America and Egypt. As this group is all about travel the members spend most of the riding season traveling from chapter to chapter, celebrating, rekindling old friendships, and experiencing new places while doing it all together.

They dedicate their time to family events, community service, and giving back to the community they so proudly represent and love. Josh, after spending a decade with the organization was voted president. Josh says that for him leadership means representing the chapter well while focusing on creating a family oriented, community where everyone has a voice.

When asked what advice he would give someone thinking about riding, Josh emphasized that above all, responsibility is top priority. Josh so beautifully stated: “First of all you need to think safety, if you’re not a person who respects safety or respects the bike then you shouldn’t be riding a bike. Biking is fun, but it can also be dangerous if you don’t follow the laws or the rules the state sets. You don’t have to speed just enjoy the ride and look at the sites”.

We wish you safe travels and thank you all so much for visiting!
