Meet Kyra from Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is someone who has always lived her life like it’s unfolding on a stage. At just three years old, she was completely captivated by “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” from The Lion King. While most kids bounced from one favorite song to the next, Kyra stuck with it, playing it over and over. She used to say, with total confidence, that one day it would be her wedding song. She just knew.

As she grew up, that sense of storytelling found its home in theater. Under the stage lights, Kyra didn’t just perform, she connected. She found her people. They are the kind of friends who turn into chosen family and stay with you through every chapter. Standing by her side today are her sister Kristen, her brother Kayden, and her chosen family, Zack, Cate, and Erin, who have been part of her story for years.

Kyra has always had a way of making life feel intentional, like even the unexpected moments are somehow meant to be. So when she met her fiancé online, it felt both modern and normal for her.

Today her friends and family brought her to Howe and surprised her with a Lantern Tour to help celebrate her bachelorette weekend. It fits her story perfectly, being a little magical, a little unexpected, and shared with the people who know and love her best. She wore a sash that said “Just Can’t Wait to Be King”, a fun, full-circle nod to the little girl she once was, and the dreams she never let go of. On June 6, 2026, that same song will play again. This time, it won’t be playing in her childhood living room, it’ll be part of her wedding day. In that moment, it won’t just be a song, it will be the story of her life, her love, and all the things she’s believed in.
