Meet Lauren & Russell from Brattleboro, Vermont

They are celebrating her 33rd birthday!

They met ten years ago while working for the same company in Plattsburgh, New York. She went to school for supply chain management and he went to school for architecture. Now, they both work in supply chain management. Lauren works for makeup company based in NYC and Russell works for a medical supply chain company. When Lauren was growing up, her father was a park ranger. She grew accustomed to living in two places. She said, “We always had a home base but we would also live wherever my father was assigned to work. I once lived in a lighthouse.” It has always been her life long dream to live and work in Manhattan. She acquired a fantastic job which afforded her the opportunity to do so and she jumped at the chance. For the past year she has been living in between New York City and Vermont. The couple said, “The hardest part of our relationship is the distance. What helps us get through that is we are truly best friends. We have open, honest communication and support each other’s dreams. We want to close the distance gap between us and we think we’ve figured out a way. We are currently modifying a military vehicle so that we can live out of it and explore the United States together with our dog.” Russell said, “My favorite thing about Lauren is that she’s adventurous! She easy easy-going and fun to be around.” Lauren said, “My favorite thing about Russell is that he always keeps me smiling!” The one thing they want to tell the world is, “Don’t give up on your dreams.
