Meet Olivia and Jeremy from Western NY

They both work in the restaurant industry and that is how they met. They’ve been together about a year and a half. Olivia is a born and raised farm girl from Upstate New York. When she was younger, she moved to South Carolina and now has a little southern bell spirit woven into her personality. Ever since she was a little girl, it was her dream to travel to every single state in the U.S. She worked as hard as she could, saved up as much money as she possibly could, and was able to take a long leave from work. She realized her dream and visited every state and nearly every national park. Olivia had some incredibly amazing adventures and saw some things in her young life that most will never see or experience. She was been surrounded by hundreds of miles of desolation to the point of being able to see the curvature of the Earth! She met wonderful people along the way and she bravely did it all by herself! Upon returning home to New York from her travels, she met Jeremy. Jeremy has a passion for cooking. He is currently in college studying culinary arts while working as a line chef in a restaurant. He was raised in the kitchen by the women in his family; cooking & baking and it all started at five years old. He is fascinated with being able to utilize his artistic creativity in the kitchen. One day, Jeremy, would love to own his own restaurant. One of the challenges in is their relationship is that they both work opposite shifts. The couple said, “It’s important to take advantage of small windows of time. When we are together, we make sure to appreciate each other and to really soak the moment in.” In the year and a half that they’ve been together, Olivia says that her favorite thing about Jeremy is that he is a gentle man. He has never once spoken a harsh word to her and has never once taken any anger out on her. He is incredibly, kind, respectful, and loving. Jeremy‘s favorite thing about Olivia is that she is genuinely honest, open, caring, and eternally optimistic. Because of her open heart and her empathetic soul, Jeremy knows that she is vulnerable to the harshness of this world. He’s incredibly protective of her. The one thing they want to tell the world is, “If you’re passionate about something, don’t ever give up on it. Push forward, no matter what it takes. Little bits of daily progress matter.
