Meet Rosie from Brooklyn

Meet Rosie. She was born and raised in the Bronx but now lives in Brooklyn. Rosie is proudly Puerto Rican Betsy noticed the pretty necklace that Rosie was wearing in the shape of the island of Puerto Rico and they began to chat. Betsy spent time in Puerto Rico for emergency response during Hurricane Maria. She found Puerto Ricans to be some of the most beautiful people that she has ever met; so kind, loving, generous, and outgoing. They expresstheir emotions, intensely and passionately. Puerto Rico is filled with beautiful rainforests and delicious food. One thing that Betsy joked about was how Puerto Rico was like the home of hermit crabs.

The beaches had so many! Rosie travels all over the world to watch sports games. She’s been to London to see the Yankees play and she’s been to Rio to watch the World Cup! When Betsy asked Rosie if she had one thing to tell the world, she said, “Life has no rulebook. Make your own rules. Break the mold. Don’t do what people expect you to do.
