Meet Valentin, Linda & their adorable children from Switzerland

We don’t know what the best thing about Switzerland is, but the flag is a big plus!

Ba dum tss All kidding aside, Switzerland is known as the playground of Europe! It is a charming and picturesque country nestled in the heart of Europe, renowned for its breathtaking mountains, delectable cheese, rich chocolate, and precision timepieces. There are four national languages of Switzerland: German, French, Italian, and Romansh. Valentin and Linda got married last year and gifts from the wedding helped to make this trip possible. They have rented an RV for a 4 1/2 week holiday in the United States. They started off in Canada and are currently on their way to visit Boston, New Hampshire and Vermont. Valentin is Mechanical engineer for company based in Switzerland. Valentin told us that he owns an old 1952 John Deere tractor back home in Switzerland. We thought to ourselves, everyone and their brother owns one of those in this neck of the woods, but he informed us that in Switzerland it’s an incredibly rare find! Linda is a college math professor. She absolutely loves to ride motorcycles. She grew up riding them and one of her brothers is a semi- professional motorcyclist. Once she became a mother, she chose to stop riding. When we asked them if they had one thing to tell the world, they said, “ It is important to be open to different cultures and environments.
