Meet Vasudev, Asha, & Rohit from Bahrain
Bahrain is small island country situated in the Persian Gulf. Its Size, or lack there of, might surprise you. Despite its small size of 780 square km (301.16 sq. miles), it remains a key player in Middle Eastern trading and economics. Bahrain is renowned for its verdant groves of date palms and depends on oil & gas, international banking & tourism. Rohit is 19 yrs. old and is currently studying information technology and computer science in Perth, Australia. (a 13 hr. flight from Bahrain). Vasudev (father) works for an American construction company based in the U.S., but works remotely, in Bahrain. Asha is a loving wife and mother who is incredibly devoted to her family and taking care of these two amazing men. The men both joked and saying that they are her only hardship.
Asha & Vasudev have been married for 29 wonderful years. This lovely family has traveled to 25 countries together and are in the U.S. on holiday. They met up with each other in Boston. The flight for Asha & Vasudev, from Bahrain to Boston, was approximately 13 hours. Rohit flew nearly 30 (yes, 30!!
) hours to meet his parents in Boston! After this trip they said that they probably will see each other again for the holidays. After his studies are complete, Rohit plans to reside in Australia. Asha & Vasudev are incredibly proud of their son for pursuing his dreams. They believe that it is good for him to be living in another country on his own. They said it builds strength of character! When asked if they had one thing to tell the world and they said, “Travel and explore the world as much as possible. Each and every country has its own personality, its own diversity, its own intricacies and that’s what makes travel so beautiful.” HOWE true! Vasudev, Asha, and Rohit, meeting you was an absolute pleasure. We wish you safe travels. Thank you so much for visiting
