Meet Catherine born in Germany

Meet Catherine born in Germany, raised in five different countries, and eight different states! She’s an incredible woman with quite a compelling life story. Earlier today, before she arrived at the cave with her friends, they were having a conversation about how “life is our story and we better write a good one.” She’s an adventurer and nothing is impossible for her when she puts her mind to it. For her full-time job, she’s a consultant. She teaches men who generally make five times what she makes how to do their jobs. For her part-time job, she’s a yacht broker. Catherine grew up in a military family. She comes from a long lineage of boat builders and educators. She is also very mechanically inclined from having growing up in workshops. Her parents were adamant about teaching her about financial health, wealth, and stability. They made her start earning her keep for things that she wanted. At seven years old, she had her first job mowing the lawns. By the time she was a teenager she had earned enough to purchase and care for her very own horse! Today she lives outside San Francisco on a two-story floating home. She is a proud mother and spoke highly of her three amazing children who have a love for good food and community. Just a little over three years ago, she lost five people that were very close to her in a very short amount of time: her mother, her father, her son, and her best friend. She said, “the only way I got through it, was by learning how to grieve well. I learned how to grieve so well that I became a certified Death Doula. I know that those I lost wouldn’t want me to stop living or to stop enjoying life. It took a very long time to get to where I am emotionally and spiritually but I am grateful that now I have the opportunity to help support others through their loss.” Thank you so much for visiting
