Meet Jamie and Kerry from Western NY
Andrew reviewed chatting with them today.
Andrew: Tell me what brought you to the cave today?
Kerry: Jamie’s been here a few times before but this is my first visit. It was a spur of the moment decision. We recently, officially, got together and were looking where to go on our next date. It was an amazing tour!
Andrew: A new relationship is exciting! How did you both meet?
Jamie: We’re both from the Syracuse area. We met in high school but we didn’t really interact much then. We recently reconnected through our local Jeep community. We’re both a part of “JKNY Wranglers”, which is a group of people that get together to go off-roading in Jeeps. It’s a really great adrenaline rush and an overall fun way to get out and enjoy nature.
Kerry: It’s an awesome community. For example, a lot of jeep owners participate in “ducking”; where people leave little rubber duckies on other jeep owners vehicles. It’s little things like that that I really enjoy that helps keep us all connected. Larger jeep groups, like JKNY and Empire Jeeps, also do community outreach work. Around this time of year, many groups participate in the “Toys for Tots” program. They also organize off-roading runs for anyone who wants to join in.
Andrew: How did you both get involved in the Jeep community?
Jamie: For both of us it really just stemmed from loving the brand.
Kerry: Owning a Jeep was always high on my bucket list. It’s brought us in touch with some pretty cool people and of course, also to each other!
Andrew: We always like to wrap up our interviews with just a final general thought. If you could share one thing with the world, what would it be?
Kerry: Be kind. Everyone deserves kindness.
Jamie: Get out there and live! Whatever gets your blood flowing do it! Make sure you do things that keep you connected with life.
Thank you so much for visiting
