Meet Lyn & Tim from Connecticut

Meet Lyn & Tim from Connecticut. Although Lyn and Tim consider themselves “not that exciting,” their travel itinerary tells a different story: She’s a hospice nurse for Regional Hospice in Connecticut, and he’s a CNC machine operator—but together, they’re on a mission to see the country.

“We bought a travel trailer and we are trying every state,” Lyn said.

The couple, who lives in the town of New Milford, made Howe one of their stops after Lyn and a friend had a great time at our Halloween haunt–HOWE CAVERNS: THE UNDERWORLD–with a friend a few years ago.

“(Doing the regular tour) was a Bucket List,” Lyn said.

Later this year, they’ll be taking an even bigger leap—outside the country. They’re taking their first-ever cruise to five Caribbean islands with their son, daughter-in-law, and her parents.

“We’re just ordinary people,” Lyn said. “But working in hospice… I found out life is too short, and you have to have fun and enjoy things while you can.”

As for Tim? “I’m just along for the ride.”
