Meet Sarah from New York

Meet Sarah. She was born and raised in New York and is proudly of Guyanese and Crucian (St. Croix) descent. While growing up, Sarah was one of the only ethnic children in her school. She stood out and because of that, she often would endure bullying from her peers. However, she didn’t let that stop her from excelling. She was on the cheerleading team, an avid skier, and horseback rider. During her summers, she and her best friend would travel to Colorado to attend a horseback riding camp, that was gifted to her from her best friend’s family. She absolutely loves animals! Currently, Sarah works with an amazing team at a local resort. She was recently accepted into a dental hygiene program with a very strict acceptance rate. She and Betsy spoke of how this year, in the Chinese Zodiac, is the year of the snake. It is the year to shed old skins or things that are no longer serving you. The one thing she wants to tell the world is, “What you are not changing, you are choosing.” Thank you for visiting!
